Bill Wilby and Sandra Einarson are pleased to introduce the new owners of Contact Photo Arts: Carol and Dave Lajoie, the owners of Value Drug Mart Grand Forks. Carol and Dave (on the right in the above photograph) have opened a new photo department inside their Value Drug Mart store. Carol is the photo Department manager, and Bill will be working for Carol during the first year to insure a smooth transition. This is a big change for Contact Photo Arts. The family business started by Bill and Sandra in 1983 has grown from its beginnings as a portrait studio to full service photo lab and camera store. Carol and Dave plan on continuing this growth. They will continue the tradition of a full service local photo lab while building the global camera sales that Bill has initiated. Bill will continue as internet sales director for out of town customers. Future plans include an on-line store to sell Panasonic micro four three cameras and accessories.
Bill and Sandra began Contact Photo Arts as a family business in 1983. Their daughter Laura, on the right, was born in 1985 and daughter Ann on the left in 1990. They have worked together as a family to build Contact Photo Arts. Laura now owns her own Photography business (www.laurawilby.com). Ann is presently studying to become a writer. The family share an interest in travel and travel photography. Future plans for Bill and Sandra include a business creating fine art cards on-line. Bill and Sandra wish to thank the many people who have helped them succeed with their family business and wish Carol and Dave the best of luck and success with there expanding family business.
